Flatulence is a common problem that affects everyone at some point of time or the other in their lives. It is caused when there is the need to drive out excess air built up in the body. The gut from the Oesophagus to the Rectum contains various gases, mainly oxygen and nitrogen that are produced in the body during regular activities such as talking or eating. Flatulence, is not an illness, by itself, and is a symptom that could be treated with various home remedies in the kitchen counter.

Babies with stomach problems can also be treated with mint. Simply stick a small mint candy in a bottle with distilled water and feed it to the baby. Babies tend to like the taste of mint, because it is sweet.
You can also drink green tea, or take Alfalfa or Parsley supplements to get rid of your flatulence. This is a good way of neutralizing gas.
